00 _________ about

Who am I?

Since my childhood in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, I sought to connect the dots between Arts, the Hebrew Bible, and (History of) Religion\s. That led me to study Communication Studies and Theology and pursue a Ph.D. in Religious Studies. Labels are misleading, but one could say I am something between a historian of religion, a biblical scholar, an art director, and a graphic designer.

After working for more than fifteen years in advertising agencies and design studios, I have migrated to academia. Today, my primary occupation is research, which I am fortunate to do at the frame of the universities of Bern and Zurich. I am currently interested in how visual remains from ancient Palestine/Israel can contribute to understanding the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament texts and how Media Theory could inform the study of ancient cultic artifacts.
