01 _________ scholar
History of Religion\s, & Biblical Studies
My scholarly work assesses religious, artistic, and biblical traditions that originated in the Late Bronze and Iron Age southern Levant.
After completing my PhD in São Bernardo do Campo/SP, Brazil, I worked in Switzerland as a postdoc at the universities of Bern and Zurich, and as an invited lecturer at the University of Basel. I am currently an Old Testament professor at the Faculdade Unida de Vitória and a research associate at the universities of Bern and Zurich.
My research interests include: the interpretation of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament; comparative, decolonial, and interartistic approaches to the ancient World; theories of media, communication, and religion; and ancient visual and material religion.
