History of Religion\s
& Biblical Studies

My scholarly work explores the fringe area between the history of ancient religion\s, biblical traditions, and art history.

After completing my PhD in Religious Studies in Brazil—honored with the CAPES Thesis Award and the Grand Thesis Award Bertha Koiffmann Becker—I conducted postdoctoral research and taught at the universities of Bern, Zurich, and Basel in Switzerland.

Today, habilitated in Protestant Theology from the University of Bern, I serve as a Professor of Old Testament and Religious Studies at Faculdade Unida de Vitória, where I continue to explore ancient visual culture, material religion, religious literature, and epigraphy.
