Observatório de Universos Bíblicos
Identity and the routine of a research group
For the research group I lead with José Adriano Filho at Faculdade Unida de Vitória, I created the brand and the group’s materials: brochure, lecture template, posts, website and the material for its international events.

The group studies religious phenomena, practices and productions from the contexts in which biblical texts were written and received, along three lines: material and visual, social and literary, and socio-epistemic mediations.
What I did
An open book under the orbits
Taking up the premise of a platform for observing the context in which the biblical texts were produced, the symbol evokes a planetarium for observing the “biblical universes”. From the Bible, orbits form and stars and planets appear, a visual image of the group’s focus.

A template for lectures
A strongly coloured cover, numbered section dividers and inner pages with room for large images and quotations. In the lecture “As ferramentas e seus humanos”, on the iconographies of the Fribourg School, it organises 61 slides.

The group’s website
The website universosbiblicos.org is the group’s institutional face, bringing together its description, research foci, members, events and calendar, in Portuguese and English.

Calendar and publications
Posts with the same diagonal and the brand colours announce the semester’s calendar and new publications by group members.

International events
For the III International Summer School “Iconography of the Ancient World” in Vitória, I made the promotional carousel and the folder. For the symposium “The Zodiac and Religious Conceptions of Time”, the poster and the folder.
