Habilitation — check!

I am happy, grateful and humbled to share that yesterday I completed my habilitation in Protestant Theology (Old Testament with a focus on ancient Israel and its neighboring cultures) at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bern. My postdoctoral thesis (Habilitationsschrift), The Devoured Code: Southern Perspectives on Interartistic Approaches to the Bible, was accepted in May 2024, and yesterday I presented my habilitation lecture, “Hermeneutics of the One: Temple/s, God/dess/es, and Religion\s in Iron Age Judah”, which was approved, completing the process.
