Habilitation—check!
ENG: I am happy, grateful, and humbled to have completed yesterday my habilitation procedure in Protestant Theology (Old Testament with a focus on ancient Israel and its neighboring cultures) at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bern.
After having my postdoctoral thesis (Habilitationsschrift) "The Devoured Code: Southern Perspectives on Interartistic Approaches to the Bible" accepted in May 2024, my habilitation lecture "Hermeneutics of the One: Temple/s, God/dess/es, and Religion\s in Iron Age Judah" was presented and approved yesterday, completing the process.
PT-BR: Estou muito feliz, grato e honrado em compartilhar que concluí ontem o meu processo de Livre-Docência (Habilitation) em Teologia Protestante (Antigo Testamento, com foco no antigo Israel e suas culturas vizinhas) na Faculdade de Teologia da Universidade de Berna (Universität Bern).
Após ter minha tese de pós-doutorado (Habilitationsschrift), intitulada "The Devoured Code: Southern Perspectives on Interartistic Approaches to the Bible", aprovada em maio de 2024, apresentei minha aula pública de habilitação, "Hermeneutics of the One: Temple/s, God/dess/es, and Religion\s in Iron Age Judah". A apresentação foi aprovada ontem, marcando a conclusão oficial de todo o processo.
